RoGhoul Ro-Ghoul CCG Builds

Quinque progression and Focus spreads from Clipped Wing to IXA and SSS Owl.

CCG Investigator Build

The CCG faction hunts Ghouls with Quinque weapons purchased from the lab using Yen. Unlike Ghouls, swapping Quinque does not reset RC — investigators do not use RC — so your Focus Quinque investment travels with you from Clipped Wing starter guns to IXA, Narukami, or Owl endgame kits. This guide walks through the standard progression: cheap early farm weapon → mid-tier Scorpion or savings → S-tier PvP main, with Focus curves at each step.

Read Focus Builds for cap rules (100 Physical, 200 Speed) and Quinque Tier List for weapon rankings including why Kajiri ranks high for economy but low for duels, and why Rotten Follow is a trap at 100M Yen.

Starter CCG (Clipped Wing era)

Most free-to-play leveling guides push Clipped Wing (5M Yen) despite its B-tier PvP score. Why? It is cheap, offers gun skills that help movement during boss wall farms, and pairs with glass Quinque stacking while NPCs cannot reach you. Eyepatch (500K) is the ultra-budget Kaneki cosplay — fine for an hour, outclassed immediately.

Starter Focus priorities:

  1. Max Quinque early for kill speed and movement skill scaling.
  2. Bring Speed toward 200 before heavy Durability — you kite, not tank.
  3. Cap Physical at 100 when dash engages matter.
  4. Skip Durability during pure wall methods; add some when open-world Ghouls touch you.

Alternative: Scorpion (56M) skips the gun phase with an A-tier Bikaku kit that forgives aim. Many players save codes Yen for Scorpion instead of Clipped Wing if they plan to skip the meme gun entirely.

Mid-game CCG (Scorpion to savings)

Scorpion carries beginners through PvE and low-rank Matchmaking with easy combos. Focus stays glass-leaning: 100 Physical, 200 Speed, 2500+ Quinque, minimal Durability.

While using Scorpion, bank Yen for an S-tier pivot:

  • IXA (350M) — defensive Koukaku with block mind-games.
  • 13’s Jason (313M) — flashy Rinkaku if you master animation cancels.
  • Kajiri (400M) — if your goal is Yen printing, not rank climb (A-tier farm, weaker PvP).

Avoid Rotten Follow, Doujima, and Demon Yamada — D-tier money pits per community lists.

Mid-game balanced option (recommended if you used a free Focus redo code early):

  • Physical 100, Speed 200
  • Quinque 2600, Durability 1600 (roughly 4:2.5 ratio)

Glass purists keep 3000+ Quinque and accept one-shot risk.

Endgame CCG (IXA, Owl, Narukami)

S-tier investigators run near-identical Focus skeletons with small Durability tweaks:

Glass IXA / Owl (Matchmaking burst):

  • Physical 100, Speed 200
  • Quinque 3500–3800
  • Durability 1700–2000

Balanced Narukami (lane sustain):

  • Physical 100, Speed 200
  • Quinque 3200, Durability 2400

IXA players must practice spear and shield mode swaps — stats only unlock potential. Owl (community SSS Owl label) rewards mobility; keep Speed capped before min-maxing Quinque. Narukami mode flexibility benefits from slightly higher Durability because you face multiple range bands in one fight.

Kajiri farm build (optional side main)

Some veterans buy Kajiri solely to grind Yen for Narukami. Run glass Quinque with enough Speed to kite NPC packs; do not expect to hold IXA lanes in PvP. Swap back to combat Quinque for events.

CCG vs Ghoul stat naming

Focus UI shows Quinque instead of Kagune for CCG characters. All other rules match Ghoul builds — same Speed and Physical caps, same 3 points per level.

Codes, redo, and safety

Leveling guides warn free players not to waste redo codes mid-progression unless switching archetypes. If you redeemed !code style redos early, pick glass or 4:1 Quinque:Durability immediately and stick to it until max level. Check Codes and the Codes Checker before spending Robux.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common RoGhoul questions.

Clipped Wing or Scorpion first?

Clipped Wing is cheapest for level rush and movement tech. Scorpion is stronger in combat for 56M. Pick Clipped Wing if you follow wall-farm guides; pick Scorpion if you want one mid-tier weapon and skip the gun phase.

Best endgame Quinque for Matchmaking?

IXA, Owl (SSS Owl), and Narukami share S-tier status. IXA rewards defense, Owl rewards mobility burst, Narukami rewards mode-flex damage. Match choice to your Focus build and aim skill.

Should CCG players buy Kajiri?

Buy Kajiri for Yen farming if you already handle kiting and need 400M payoff loops. Skip it for PvP — invest in IXA or Owl instead.
